北海道帯広市在住
１９８０年 舞踊家・松本道子氏（帯広）に師事
１９８４年より人形をテーマにダンス作品を発表
１９８５年 人形製作開始
１９８８年初個展以降、東京・京都・札幌・帯広で個展開催
１９９１年 伽井丹彌創作人形教室開設
１９９８年 「Gather of Excellence展」（ニューヨーク）に出品
１９９９年 北海道立帯広美術館に作品収蔵
２０００年 「十勝の新時代Ⅲ 伽井丹彌展」（北海道立帯広美術館）
２０００年 帯広市民劇場新人賞受賞
２００２年 第１１回道銀芸術文化奨励賞受賞
２００２年 とかち国際現代アート展デメーテル関連事業に「ほこら」を発表
２００４年 「球体関節人形展」（東京都現代美術館）出品
２００５年 パフォーマンス「傀」（北海道立近代美術館講堂）発表
２００９年 十勝文化団体協議会 文化奨励賞受賞

Born in Hokkaido, Japan.
1980- Studies a modern dance under MATSUMOTO Michiko in Obihiro (-2005).
1984- Provides dance performances under the theme of “Doll and Self”.
1985 Starts doll-making. 1988- Has solo exhibitions in Tokyo, Kyoto, Sapporo and Obihiro.
1991 Opens KAI Akemi Creative Doll School.
1998 Submits to “Gather of Excellence” exhibition in New York.
1999 A piece of her doll work is selected to be part of the collection of Hokkaido Obihiro Museum of Art.
2000 “New Age of Tokachi III: KAI Akemi Exhibition” at Hokkaido Obihiro Museum of Art.
2000 Receives the Obihiro Civic Theater New Face Award.
2002 Receives the 11th Arts Encouraging Prize of Dogin Cultural Foundation.
2002 Dance performance “HOKORA” as a related event of “The Tokachi International ContemporaryArt :DEMETER”in Obihiro.
2004 Participates in “Dolls of INNOCENCE: Ball Jointed Doll Art Exhibition” at Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo.
2005 Dance performance “KAI” at the Lecture Hall of Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art Sapporo.
2009 Tokachi cultural group conference culture encouragement prize winning.

7歳～筆を持つ。
’09～DESIGN書家とし創作活動始動。
ライブパフォーマンス、ロゴデザイン、書道教室、書道Cafeなど、書が日常に存在し、自由で楽しいを入り口に、
書の本当の奥深さと日本伝統文化の魅力を改めて感じるきっかけをつくりたい。
『和心』”ものづくり”に対する職人魂と、”質の良さ”の美しさは、日本人特有のもので、そこからは感動がうまれ
ると、感じました。
現代書の仮名や、ローマ字、漢字交じり以外にも、アートで、自分にしか表現出来ないデザインが、一つの表現
方法となれば。
『デザイン書』を入り口に、文字の形だけではなく、墨の香り、色、滲み、音、紙の質感と魅力を五感で感じ、書く
度に、書の本来の奥深さを体感して頂きたい。

北海道に欠かせない、自然と都市の関係。
町の９０％が緑に覆われている北海道下川町は、持続可能な森づくりを通して国際社会にも通用する「環境未来都市」の選定を受けており、坂本龍一さんが主宰するmore treesプロジェクトに参加しています。
そんな下川町民みんなが選んだ森林のイメージカラー「SHIMOKAWA GREEN」も使用しながら、自然をイメージした作品づくりと活動を通し、私なりの表現で発信出来ればと考えています。
