8月16日〜17日

Albany Park World Fest

Date
August 16, 2014 – August 17, 2014
Time
Saturday: Noon to 10pm | Sunday: Noon to 9pm
Location
Lawrence & Kimball (Brown Line terminus), Chicago

Nestled between stately Ravenswood Manor (to its east), collegiate North Park/Northeastern Universities (to its north) and cozy Old Irving (to its south), Albany Park is truly one of Chicago’s most eclectic neighborhoods. The whole world is represented in this community which is served by three stops on the CTA’s bustling Brown Line.

The inaugural Albany Park Fest will be held at the busy intersection of Kimball (3400 W.) and Lawrence Avenue which also serves as a major transportation hub that is the terminus of the Brown Line.

With more than 70 languages spoken in the neighborhood, and its eclectic mix of restaurants and shopkeepers from well over 40 countries (Latin America. Asia. The Middle East. The Philippines. Eastern Europe. Greece.), expect a truly international fest with diverse music, eclectic cuisine, global arts/crafts, and an activities area for Albany Park’s vibrant mix of families and kids.
